At British Grit Jack Russell Terriers, we are committed to matching our puppies with the right families. Our purchase process is designed to make sure both you and your new Jack Russell Terrier start off on the right paw!
Price
Our puppies typically start at $1,500, depending if it is male or female. A $100 refundable deposit is required to hold your spot on our waiting list. The balance is due at pickup or before delivery arrangements are finalized.
How Our Purchase Process Works
1. First, contact us by phone or email so we can get to know you and answer any questions you may have. You are also welcome to schedule a visit to meet our dogs in person.
2. Once we’ve spoken and you decide to move forward, we’ll ask for a $100 refundable deposit to secure your place on the waiting list.
3. You’ll let us know if you prefer a male or female puppy, and we’ll guide you to the right litter and timing based on your family’s needs.
4. Our buyers must meet certain requirements, based on JRTCA guidelines. You will need a secure, fenced yard, as Jack Russells are known for being escape artists. We require homes with children over the age of six, and families who can provide daily exercise, mental stimulation, and a loving, committed environment.
5. When your puppy is ready, we prefer to meet you in person at pickup. If you’re located farther away, we are happy to help arrange safe transportation — just let us know, and we’ll work out the details together.

Hans Aberg is the longtime co-founder of British Grit Jack Russell Terriers. For over 40 years, Hans has played a vital role in shaping the kennel’s breeding program alongside his late wife, Nancy Aberg.
With a deep love for the breed, Hans has dedicated his life to producing Jack Russell Terriers that reflect true conformation, athleticism, and loyal temperament. His care and commitment have helped British Grit earn the respect of families and breeders around the world.
Ceanne Livingston continues the family legacy at British Grit Jack Russell Terriers, following in her mother Nancy’s footsteps with dedication and passion.
Ceanne manages the daily operations of the kennel and works closely with families to match them with the perfect puppy.
With a lifelong connection to the breed and the kennel’s values, she ensures that each British Grit puppy is raised with care, integrity, and purpose.
